Following the highly successful Outback Land Rover Heritage Drive 2010, the Land Rover Club of the ACT once again led a drive for heritage Land Rover owners and friends through an iconic region of Outback Australia, in aid of outback communities. More than 110 participants and 80+ vehicles took part.
Starting in Broken Hill on Monday 4 June 2012, participants traversed some of the most scenic outback country in Australia including the Flinders Ranges and Birdsville Track. On the way, participants visited Yunta, Parachilna, Marree, Mungerannie, Birdsville, Haddon Corner, Innamincka and Tibooburra, before returning to Broken Hill on Friday 15 June.
Another successful event, with most of the heritage vehicles completing the Drive without too much difficulty, despite the challenging conditions and distances involved. Well done, everyone!
